Coming up this term I have the following workshops scheduled:

Tropical Applique Workshop - 4th May 2024 - 9.30 a.m. - 4.00p.m. Cost $60.00

This is the second of these workshops and like the first it requires at home preparation before attending. This workshop concentrates on the technique of blanket stitching and

doesn't have any under or over pieces to make the project easier for you to accomplish.

 Yo-Yo Bag workshop #1 - 18 May 2024 - 9.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. Cost $60.00

This is a cute bag that involves some applique, piecing and quilting topped off with some

yo-yo's or suffolk puffs. It uses soft and stable or an equivalent wadding and is

approximately 14" x 11" by 3" deep.

Yo-Yo Bag workshop #2 - 8 June 2024 - 9.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. Cost $60.00

The details are exactly the same as above.

P.H.D. Day (Projects half done) - 1 June 2024 -9.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. Cost $50.00

This day is to catch up, get some help on the tricky bits of the project you are working on,

or just to have a whole day of uninterrupted quilting.

These days are very popular and as a result this class is full, keep an eye out,

there will be another one next term.

Precious Memory Quilt Working Bee - 15 June 2024 - 9.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. No cost.

In the past we have made these little quilts for the families of still born babies, of late we

have not held a working bee to make these so 15 June is the day. These small quilts are

given to the families at a very hard time in their lives and to let them know that someone is thinking of them

If you are able to help out for an hour or two it would be much appreciated. I have been donated fabric for this purpose.  The patterns we make are simple but beautiful.

Sewing Tool Organizer - 29 June 2024 - 9.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. Cost $60.00

Sit this organizer on your cutting/sewing table and have all your tools at your fingertips. There are plenty of pockets and a place for pins, it is ever so handy. There is also a matching scissor holder.

Quilt Till You Wilt #1 - 6 July 2024 - 9.30 a.m. - 11.59 p.m. (at the latest). Cost $200.00

For those of you that have been to a Q.T.Y.W. before you know the drill. If you would like to come for the first time, this is a fun day. You will buy your fabric, wash and iron it and get it

to me in plenty of time for me to cut it out for you. You are making a Mystery Quilt, it is a queen-sized quilt, it will be revealed to you early in the afternoon.

The price includes the pattern, tuition, the cutting, the wadding, morning and afternoon tea, 

lunch and dinner. You will arrive and have your mystery quilt cut out and ready for you just

to sit and sew. You will notice the finishing time; the lights go off at midnight if you haven't wilted before then. It is a busy but satisfying day and you will be close to having your quilt

top done in the day, that is if you are not an early wilter.
